Specialised Services can provide the appropriate meth decontamination & testing resources required to bring your property back to a habitable standard. The meth decontamination process is totally dependent on the amount of contamination caused to the property, the property may have been used as a laboratory site, or a drug use site, or both.

Meth laboratories require considerably more decontamination and remediation than meth drug use sites. This is because the manufacturing process and the chemicals used remain at the property at much higher levels. Exposure to these chemicals is considered a serious risk to health as many of the chemicals are toxic, flammable and/or corrosive.

Short-term exposure to these chemicals can result in nausea, vomiting, headaches and chest tightness, while long-term exposure can result in severe skin irritation, insomnia, irritability, hyperactivity, behavioural changes and adverse cardiovascular effects.
